During the initial phase of the project, our SRI IT Services Management Consultants take the lead in exploring and gathering information to understand the client's requirements thoroughly.
This process serves the dual purpose of enabling the client to comprehend our extensive capabilities. The inputs required for this phase are typically a Project Initiation document or the Clients' Business Problem Statement. These inputs help us to gain a clear understanding of the desired outcome of the project.
The primary output of this phase is a detailed statement outlining what SRI IT Services can deliver for the client, including the necessary knowledge transfer, documentation, and risk mitigation strategies. Once both parties agree on the proposal, we proceed to the Elaboration Phase.
The elaboration phase is essentially the preliminary stage of a project's development, which involves a range of inquiries aimed at defining the project's scope and identifying all the necessary requirements. During this phase, our team of experts meticulously scrutinizes all the product's technical demands, creates detailed wireframes, and formulates high-level solution descriptions.
The outcome of this phase is a comprehensive exposition of the technical solutions and tools that will be utilized in the project. We also anticipate potential issues that may arise and devise mitigation strategies accordingly.
All of these measures are taken to gauge the resource costs and timelines for each planned project activity. Ultimately, the elaboration phase provides clients with a clear and detailed overview of the project's technical aspects.
In this Phase, the work begins as per the project plan that has been agreed upon. Initially, we focus on defining the required Test Environments, followed by their acquisition, building, and setup to meet the testing requirements. Furthermore, we identify the team requirements.
Once these steps are completed, we proceed with:
- Initiating Knowledge Transfer activities.
- Commencing Test planning and preparation activities.
- Performing Test Execution Activities.
- Providing Test Measurement metrics.
- Issuing daily/weekly reports.
- Participating in the end-of-project review to identify opportunities for process.
- Improvement and lessons learned.
During this stage, our primary objective is to impart knowledge to the Business-As-Usual (BAU) Support Teams. This will involve generating, revising, and delivering Test Documentation and Product Documentation, alongside the development or updating of Regression Packs that will serve as a foundation for future testing efforts.
Furthermore, we will strive to enhance processes within the client's organization as well as within SRI IT Services' support for the client, by implementing continuous improvement strategies. Additionally, we will provide ongoing Maintenance and Warranty support to ensure the smooth functioning of the implemented systems.
